I graduated from the University of South Florida with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. With over ten years of classroom experience, teaching is my passion! I like to make learning fun by incorporating a lot of “hands on” activities! Seeing a child grasp and apply new concepts brings joy to my heart.

I am a dedicated educator with more than 30 years of experience helping elementary students and students with disabilities build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and experience meaningful success in learning. I specialize in supporting diverse learners through individualized instruction, positive behavior strategies, and a warm, structured teaching approach. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching (History & Social Sciences) and a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate with Elementary Education K-6, Social Science 6-12 and Exceptional Students Education K-12 with endorsements in Reading K-12, ESOL, Autism, Civics and Gifted. Since 2016, I have been teaching in ASD/EBD/ESE self-contained classrooms in Pasco County Schools, working with students who have emotional and behavioral disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, communication challenges, and other exceptionalities. I develop IEPs, create ACCESS aligned lessons, implement behavior-support interventions, and works closely with families to help students thrive both academically and socially. In tutoring practice, I provide compassionate, individualized support in: Reading and literacy development Elementary math and content-area skills Organization, study habits, and executive functioning Behavior and emotional regulation strategies Support for EBD, ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other needs My teaching style includes patience, calm demeanor, and child centered approach. Melissa Curtis holds a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Professional and Technical Writing. She has experience teaching middle and high school language arts and reading, as well as working in Exceptional Student Education, where she supported diverse learners in developing literacy, writing, and critical thinking skills. Melissa is passionate about clear communication and specializes in presenting complex ideas in an organized, accessible way. Her background in both education and writing allows her to create effective instructional and professional content while supporting students with a wide range of learning needs.

Hi, I'm Franco! I have a degree in Statistics from Florida State University, minoring in Chemistry and Physics. I started my career working in the nonprofit sector working with young adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I believe that patience, understanding, and clear communication are key to fostering success.

Career experience in education software development at IBM and a communications degree from Brigham Young University. Ten years as a classroom teacher and substitute. I love working with youth helping them to grow and discover the adventure of learning.
